These Opal earrings from Israel are absolutely spectacular!!
Each large round man made Opal Cabochon is set into a very deep bezel that has a lovely slightly raised pattern of leaves and scroll work. The background of this pattern is slightly oxidized allowing this pattern to standout beautifully!!
A wavy silver line hugs the Opal beautifully.
There is an attached shepherd hook with s-hook closure, a wonderful addition to these earrings for those who worry of loosing them.
The Opals in these earrings are speckles of aqua, blues, greens, purples all of which seem to come together beautifully.
As Israel Opals are always man made please don’t be alarmed by this as there are many advantages to this technique- one being, man made Opals have no water which makes them more durable and harder than the natural occurring opal.
